Small business owners view business continuity as too expensive and only major companies need the planning. Small businesses have limited resources and are greatly affected from business interruptions either major (natural disasters) or minor (ultility outages). The focus for small businesses should be on surviving any disruptions through the use of manual operations until full recovery of functions can be established. Manual processes maybe less efficient but the business will still be operational and customers will recognize the effort by remaining with the company
